This workshop will boost your confidence in making conscious style choices to improve your academic writing. It offers a reflective framework for exploring key style conventions in scientific writing (e.g., tense usage, active vs. passive voice, scientific wording, etc.). You will examine the effects of different style choices and decide what best suits your texts. Please bring a text sample to work with from a current or past writing project.
